Volunteer

The most valuable, long-lasting contribution anyone

can make to WCMC is their time.  Volunteers are the

heartbeat of WCMC.  You could make a difference for

a woman who is choosing between life and death, or

help strengthen the ministry through community relations.  

 

 

 

 

 

Pregnancy Consultant

 

  • Volunteers 4-5 hours a week
  • Serves women in one-on-one sessions
  • Gives on-going support and encouragement to clients throughout their pregnancy
  • Educates women on all their options in an unplanned pregnancy
  • Shares the love of Jesus with each client
  • We offer complete, mandatory training for all pregnancy consultantsthat will equip you to serve clients as well as grow in your own walk with Christ.



Medical Professional (RN’s, RDMS’s, & Physicians)

 

  • Serves 4-5 hours a week
  • Conducts pregnancy testing
  • Performs limited obstetrical ultrasound (upon specialized training)
  • Gives early prenatal care instructions to client
  • We offer complete, mandatory training for all medical professionals that will equip you to serve in a Pregnancy Medical Center facility.



Man-to-Man Consultant

 

  • Serves 2-3 hours every other Monday night
  • Trains men on a Biblical understanding of masculinity
  • Teaches parenting skills to new fathers
  • Mentors and disciplines young men on the responsibilities of fatherhood
  • Required training is provided by WCMC.



Office Assistant

 

  • Serves 4-5 hours a week
  • Assist in clerical duties (i.e. newsletter mailings, Christmas Tree Project, etc.)
  • Help maintain and organize care closet



Abstinence Education Presenter

 

  • Present abstinence in the schools
  • Educate teens on the consequences of sex before marriage
  • Empower teens to make good, healthy choices
  • Equip teens to abstain until marriage
  • We offer complete, mandatory training for each of our abstinence curriculum (7th grade, 8th grade, and High School).



Church Liaison

 

  • Bring needs and events of WCMC to your congregation
  • Organize a team from your church to participate in our annual Walk for Life
  • Educate the body of believers about the pro-life cause
  • Bring awareness to life on Sanctity of Human Life Sunday (held in January)
